Once your order has been received information, it is treated as soon as possible.
The preparation and delivery will be made within two days for shipments in France, and for shipments abroad, or on the date you have chosen for he delivery, unless otherwise specified and exceptional. Shipments are made Monday through to Friday, excluding holidays (At the end of the year, the preparation time maybe longer, and could take up to 6 to 8 working days).
Once shipped, your package is brought to you by either a carrier, the Post Office, TNT or Chronopost depending on the nature of the order. Postmen or deliverymen do their utmost to carry and deliver your order on time. However, sometimes it does not happen, and parcels can get delayed.
To reduce any delay, take great care whilst filling out the delivery address and indicate certain features like: building entrance, apartment #, security code, phone number (mobile preferred) so that the postman or the courier can have access to letterboxes, and leave you a calling card in case of absence.
A well described address avoids delays and additional costs.
If your work keeps you away from home? Have you thought of having you package delivered to your work, or to the nearest Relais Colis?
In the absence of the recipient, the parcel will be returned to the nearest Relais Colis (if parcel sent by TNT), or to the nearest post office (if parcel sent by post) and you will be notified by a transit advice note (calling card).
- The average package delivery time by carrier (Post, TNT or carrier) can vary between 2-5 business days (shipments to France) (At the end of the year the preparation time can take longer, between 6 to 8 days).
If after a period of 7 working days from the date of shipment, you have not received your package or have not had not had a delivery notice, ask your Post Office or verify your Relais Colis whichever the case being to see if your parcel is still pending.
Post offices keep the package for up to 15 days, the Relais Colis 10 days. After these deadlines, the parcels will be returned to Perigord Produits.
- If the package you receive is in poor condition, open it in the presence of the post man or deliveryman. If you find that the products have been damaged, refuse the package and indicate on the delivery note "refused as damaged."
If, however the package seems to have been opened, and one or more items are missing, please state any details on the delivery note, and always in the presence of post man or deliveryman, refuse the package and make a full statement at the post office, that you send us. Signatures on the delivery slips or statements to the Post Office enable us to give a refund or make an exchange.
